Burrow

Localhost tunnel for developers

The localhost tunnel built for AI agents.

Burrow gives any local service a public, TLS-secured address, through any firewall, any NAT and any VPN, with no network configuration. A local inspector shows every request in real time, and an MCP server lets AI agents open tunnels.

What it's about

Testing webhooks, showing a demo, getting the app onto your phone: sooner or later your localhost has to reach the internet. The well-known tunnel services route through the US, and for teams with GDPR obligations that is a problem.

Burrow does the same thing from the EU. One command, and your service has an HTTPS address with a managed wildcard certificate. The local inspector shows every request and response, compares them and replays them with changes. Webhook signatures are verified right at the edge.

Because more and more development happens with AI agents, Burrow has its own MCP server: agents can open tunnels, inspect traffic and debug webhooks.

How it works

  1. Start

npx useburrow http 3000 in the terminal.

  2. Share

Give the public HTTPS address to webhook providers, clients or your phone.

  3. Inspect

See every request in the local inspector, compare it and replay it.
